20 Scariest Movies of All Time...

According to Entertainment Weekly...

The Shining (1980) - Love it. Jack Nicholson is perfect. And "redrum redrum redrum!"
The Exorcist (1973) - I've seen it. I've seen scarier. But it was '73.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) - I've seen bits and pieces...get it? Bits & Pieces!! Sorry.
The Silence of the Lambs (1991) - I love this movie
Jaws (1975) - Maybe at the time it was scary...now it's just a big rubber shark. However, no one will ever jump in the water without looking again. "We're going to need a bigger boat"...a line I use often.
The Ring (2002) - I've seen it...good thriller.
Halloween (1978) - LOVE Halloween! Ch ch ch...ah ah ah.
Psycho (1960) - classic
Seven (1995) - Another good thriller...sort of a mystery to solve too, not just people getting slashed.
Rosemary's Baby (1978) - I've never seen it.
Poltergeist (1982) - A favorite!
28 Days Later (2003) - Haven't seen it
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) - Who doesn't like a little Freddy? And the earlier ones were definitely better.
The Thing (1982) - negative. Haven't seen it.
The Evil Dead (1982) - Nope. Don't know.
Carrie (1976) - Another classic. Hell hath no fury like a telekinetic woman scorned.
Night of the Living Dead (1968) - I haven't seen this one...but I do like Shaun of the Dead!
The Omen (1976) - I've always wanted to see it.
An American Wearwolf in London (1981) - Nope.
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1990) - I never heard of this until this list.

I love a scary movie...but I'm more of a 'that-can't-really-happen-scary-movie' girl. I'm not into grossness for the sake of grossness or seeing what a psycho could really possibly do. However, movies that document what a person has done or based on actual events (Texas Chainsaw) is a little different, I can handle that...I'm not sure why.
I will never see any of the Saw movies. I will never watch Hannibal or The Cell again. There are just certain scenes that I can't get out of my mind and they truly disturb me.

But give me Freddy, Jason, or Michael Myers any old time! I love those even as unrealistic as the effects are now. And anything paranormal! Love it.

Taxes, taxes, taxes...

Ok, so we got some relief on our property taxes. We were even sent a rebate check...not more than $100 but still nice. But to make up for the property tax cap they now have in place, our sales taxes are going up 1% tomorrow to 7%.
I miss the days of 5% tax...the bill was WAY easier to figure out.
On a lighter note, we finally finished our taxes (thanks to Turbo Tax). And they will go in the mail today. DON'T FORGET TO SIGN YOUR FORMS!!! I almost forget every year.
Rob & I are getting a decent rebate...but we have plans for ALL of it already. Contacts for me, vaccinations for the cats, credit card bills for both of us, and a very small bit to go have a nice dinner somewhere and maybe buy a DVD. Oooooh maybe Hot Fuzz!

Earth Hour 2008

How come I only heard of this TODAY?!?
Way to be green Indiana. The midwest seems to fall WAY behind on things like this.

Earth Hour was created by the WWF in 2007 in Sydney. It was only a city-wide goal but it's now gone global. The main goal is to show how easy it is to make a change for energy conservation and environmental preservation.
I think the concept is brilliant.

Watch the video and check out the website: http://www10.earthhourus.org/

I've entered a photo contest...

Today was the deadline to submit photos for the Indiana Office of Community & Rural Affairs photo contest.
There were several categories and judging will be based on creativity, technical quality, and effectiveness of conveying the spirit of rural Indiana. There's no prize money, just recognition and they may use the photos in publications and promotional materials...so I get bragging rights is all. But I figured...why not.

I submitted five (the limit) photos that I took in Shipshewana, IN. I've posted them here before but here are the five entries...

I'll let you know what happens!

Introducing Photoshop Express...

An online photo storage by Photoshop! You can edit photos in all kinds of ways with the click of a button. You can also sort your photos by creating albums. Really almost like any other online photo storage site...Kodakgallery.com, shutterfly.com...etc.
But I find that with Photoshop Express there are more editing options and it's super easy to use.
And...it's free.

It's still in it's Beta version so there might be kinks to work out and new features added all the time.

But I'm excited about it!

You can read a bit about it here: http://photojojo.com/content/websites/adobe-photoshop-express-web/

EW!

I don't like tomato juice to begin with, I don't even like tomatoes. Ok, but I do like tomato soup and tomato sauce and salsa and even bruschetta (yea, figure that one out)...but I hate tomato juice. I've tried it! I have a creed: you can't say you don't like it if you've never tried it.

I digress...just the concept of this was especially hurl-acious to me...I almost saw my Cold Cut Combo Subway sub...and I finished eating it 10 minutes ago.

Seriously, does this sound good to anyone?

Maybe that's why this is a vintage ad. (It's from 1975)

Today in History...

1982 - A groundbreaking ceremony for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial is held in Washington, DC.
I looked up my maiden name (Kenaga) in the catalogs there...it's such an uncommon name I thought for sure there wouldn't be anyone. But there he was...on slab 22E line 31, PFC Gary L. Kenaga from Wichita, Kansas...he was only 19 years old.

Incidentally I found this website for memorial bracelets. They encompass more than just Vietnam. I'm considering getting one.

Laura, I found your brother's name.

In case you need proof that subliminal advertising does work...

You have to wait until the end to get the goods...but wow...

Oops I sent you the wrong parts...could you send those missiles back to us please?

Um, seriously...how does this happen? I hope that guy is fired.

Taiwan asked for helicopter batteries...we gave them missile parts. No...I don't see a problem, do you?

Oh, but this happened in 2006. So it's ok.

Ribs at Chili's...

We went to Chili's on Sunday...because Buffalo Wild Wings, our usual Sunday lunch haunt, was closed.

I hadn't been there in quite some time and they had revamped their menu.
The babyback ribs ("barbecue sauce") caught my eye...they had some interesting new flavors.
I had the half and half plate of Brown Sugar Chile Rub and Honey-Chipotle.

I HIGHLY recommend the Brown Sugar Chile! Holy mouth-water batman!
Seriously...get a full rack of this stuff...left me wanting more after I had the whole thing!

Junk Emails...At Work!!!

I got WAY more yesterday but deleted them before I got this idea...

Here are the subject lines of my most recent spam at work...

-i love you
-High quality medicines at the lowest cost.
-Do not miss a variety to buy must have meds for cheap (*translate much?)
-High quality medical goods at the lowest prices
-All In One Place The Ultimate in Luxury Shopping

And we have a firewall and all kinds of protection...so IT says.
I'll have to post again when I have another decent list...yesterday I had 17 with much more interesting subject lines.

Make Your Own Crest...

Scion has a fun little thing to do if you're bored. Create your own crest.

This is mine...with how I feel today at least. ;)

And the torch is lit...

The 2008 Olympic torch was lit today in Greece. There was already a protestor that breached security. This whole China v. Tibet thing is stirring a bit of controversy. I hope it doesn't turn ugly.

The whole point of the Olympic Games is to bring nations closer together even while competing against each other and promote peace.

Still, and sometimes understandably countries boycott to make a statement for or against something they feel strongly about.

And sadly many see it as an opportunity to have a stage or podium from which to demonstrate.

I am hopeful that these Olympic games will be peaceful and embody the true spirit they were based on.

It would be funnier if it were further from the truth...

Bush to Phase Out Environment by 2009
Declares War on Prairie Dogs

President George W. Bush confirmed today that his gutting of the Endangered Species Act is part of a broader plan to phase out the environment entirely by the time he leaves office in January of 2009.

“In addition to cutting taxes, it has been the goal of this administration to cut our wasteful, bloated environment,” Mr. Bush said in a speech before the Association of Indiscriminate Applauders in Washington, D.C.

In his speech, Mr. Bush added that the EPA would henceforth be renamed the Environmental Prevention Agency.

The president said that by removing endangered species from the protected list one by one, his administration has been able to phase out the environment gradually “so that hardly anyone will notice it’s missing.”

But the president warned that “much work remains to be done” if the environment is to be completely phased out by the first quarter of next year and called for the accelerated extinction of all superfluous organisms by the end of fiscal 2008.

“It is time for all Americans to take sides,” Mr. Bush said. “Are you with us, or are you with the black-tailed prairie dog?”

Mr. Bush’s plan also calls for a gradual reduction of air and water, with water most likely to get the axe.

“If it comes down to choosing between air and water, the president will probably scrap water,” said Environmental Prevention Agency chief Stephen L. Johnson. “After all, most Iraqis have been without water since 2003 and look how well they’re doing.”

Elsewhere, after Pope Benedict XVI prayed for peace on Easter Sunday, Vice President Dick Cheney requested equal time for war.

Dinner & a Show...

Well, not dinner...but lunch.

Today my mom and I had lunch at 'The Vine' in South Bend. We each had a glass of wine to start with...I with the Sauvignon Blanc and mom with the Riesling (cuz she only likes the sweet stuff). For my meal I had the dip sampler because I just loooove my dips. And HOLY CRAP! They were awesome...and there was plenty to share...but it was all mine!
To end we each had a white chocolate raspberry martini which were great...but I'm still wondering where the raspberry was.
Then we walked next door to the Morris Civic Auditorium to take in a show...Blast!.

If you are a music lover and haven't seen Blast! I highly recommend it...especially if you are a marching band alumni.
I've included a few YouTube clips for your enjoyment. These percussionists...there's just no words for their talent.

Then afterward we headed to the chocolate cafe for coffee drinks...white chocolate mocha and a chocolate chai.

Now I'm off to some friends' house to have some pizza...hopefully it's the best pizza in Elkhart.(They don't have a website, you're just going to have to take my word for it.)

What a great day!

-There is no 'ctrl' button on Chuck Norris's computer. Chuck Norris is always in control.
-Apple pays Chuck Norris 99 cents every time he listens to a song.
-Chuck Norris can sneeze with his eyes open.

-Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one bird.
Seriously funny stuff folks.
But his upper lip scares me. Seriously! Look at it! It's freaky huge!!!

LOLZ

Ok, you know how I like my 'lolcats'.

How about lolpresident?...

Gotta love a Star Trek reference...

Careful, you might learn something...

On this day in history...

1863 - The SS Georgiana, said to have been the most powerful Confederate cruiser, was destroyed on her maiden voyage with cargo of munitions, medicines and merchandise then valued at over $1,000,000. The wreck was discovered on the same day and month, exactly 102 years later by then teenage diver and pioneer underwater archaeologist E. Lee Spence.

1931 - Gambling is legalized in Nevada.

1945 - World War II: Off the coast of Japan, a dive bomber hits the aircraft carrier USS Franklin, killing 724 of her crew. Though crippled, the ship is able to return to the U.S. on her own power. In the picture, The crew is clearly seen on the flaming deck, watched by the crew of the light cruiser USS Santa Fe (from where this was taken), which was alongside assisting with firefighting and rescue work.

1945 - World War II: Adolf Hitler issues his "Nero Decree" ordering all industries, military installations, shops, transportation facilities and communications facilities in Germany be destroyed. The decree was in vain. The man most responsible for carrying it out was Albert Speer, Minister of Armaments and War Production. Appalled at the order, Speer deliberately failed to carry it out, shrewdly persuading Hitler that his planned - albeit imaginary - recovery of the lost territory could be done without the destruction of its assets. Hitler committed suicide on April 30, 1945, 32 days after issuing the order. Speer handed himself to the allied authorities on 7 May 1945, on which date Admiral Karl DΓΆnitz, Hitler's successor, signed an unconditional surrender.

1966 - Texas Western becomes the first college basketball team to win the Final Four, to start five black players.

Constitutional Rights...

It's the Second frickin' Amendment to the United States Constitution!!!It "prohibits infringement of the right of the people to keep and bear arms". I'm not a huge proponent of guns myself, but I am supportive of this amendment. Who is the government to say that I can't have one and especially that I can't have one just because I happen to live in the city limits of Washington, D.C.?

The government is violating the rights of the people it serves. If we ignore the Bill of Rights and the Constitution we might as well ignore the Declaration of Independence and still be under British rule...which right now may not be such a bad thing.

Side note: In the face of the presidential elections and the possibility of losing the oval office, Republicans have been arguing that "the 90's weren't really that much better than right now". And I heard a quote from Hillary Clinton (although it would apply to any democratic candidate) that was perfect..."what part didn't you like? The peace or the prosperity?".

If the Supreme Court upholds the ban...ugh. I'm not saying that everyone should have a gun. I definitely support thorough background checks and requirements for permits. I know plenty of people that own guns and I'm not afraid of any of them or afraid to be in their house or afraid I'll accidentally be shot anytime I'm with them.
Banning guns for any reason will only make them a hotter commodity and encourage people to keep them more hidden.

And that's my two cents...

One of my new favorites...

I like funny movies.
I like stupid movies.
I like everything British.

So I LOVE this movie!

Did you see Shaun of the Dead? No?!?! (or) You hated it?!?! Well, I thought it was retarded the first time I saw it too, but seriously give it another whirl. Nothing beats the scene when they're beating up the zombies with pool cues (or are they snooker cues?) to Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now'.
No matter how I describe Hot Fuzz I couldn't do justice to the comedy. And watch the special features too. H-I-larious!
Just trust me.
The 3-disc special edition DVD is now on my Amazon Wish List.

Does this bother anyone else?

Does anyone else find it extremely disturbing that our government's (and possibly others) answer to getting rid of toxic waste is to dump it in the ocean?

Nuclear plant waste? Industrial toxic waste? Leftover mustard gas? No problem, put it in barrels and we'll just throw it in the ocean. Surely there will be no consequences. What could happen?

Exactly...you have no idea what could happen, how it may affect the human race and the earth in the long run. I'm sure it's already affected marine life more than we can imagine.

I can't think about this kind of thing too long. It makes me sick that "we" just don't care about this planet we live on. Where else have we got?

A green fact...

Apparently I have the rarest of eye colors...green. Only 1-2% of the world's population has green eyes.
They are most often found in Northern Europe.

Now, my birth certificate says my eyes are hazel...at least they were.

My eyes change color slightly depending on my mood. They'll appear a lighter green or a little bluer when I'm sad. And really bright when I'm happy.

Points of Interest...

Your semi-daily dose of education/trivia...

St. Patrick's Day Trivia...

BLUE is actually the color associated with Saint Patrick, not green. But the green evolved from a couple of things...traditionally the color associated with Ireland itself and also the "wearing of the green" which simply means to wear a shamrock on one's clothing.

The largest Saint Patrick's Day parade in Britain is held in Birmingham over a two mile (3 km) route through the city centre.

The first civic and public celebration of Saint Patrick's Day in the 13 colonies (America) took place in Boston, Massachusetts in 1737.

Today in history...
1845 - The rubber band is patented.

1861 - The Kingdom of Italy (1861-1946) is proclaimed.

1950 - University of California, Berkeley researchers announce the creation of element 98, which they name "Californium".

Today is also the birthday for quite a few celebs...
Nat King Cole, Ken Mattingly (astronaut), Patrick Duffy, Kurt Russell, Gary Sinise, & Rob Lowe.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

It's the day of my signature color!
Go n-eΓrΓ an bΓ³thar leat.
May the road rise with you.

Wherever you go and whatever you do,
May the luck of the Irish be there with you.
May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light.
May good luck pursue you each morning and night.

Fuuuuh, Windextor & Snarky (Great Word)...

This cracks Rob & I up...
Then we crack each other up just by saying "Fuuuuuh" at random times...you'll see.

BTW - there is some language in this clip, careful at work or around kids...

Some people hate Dane Cook...I think he's a frickin' genius.

November 22nd, 1963...

That's the day I would pick.

If you could go back in time, anywhere, only as a witness. What would you want to see? What would you want to know?

Would you want to see dinosaurs? Would you want to check out the Titanic before it rests on the ocean floor? Would you want to just check out the 50's? Witness the first moon landing? See Cleopatra? Witness a Civil War battle? Revolutionary War? Any unsolved mysteries you want the answers to?

Don't limit your imagination...

I want to know what really happened in Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas on November 22nd, 1963. I think a lot more went on than we may ever know about.

What would you want to see & know about?

VERY interesting article...too true

Here is a CNN article on how our country got into the state it's currently in.

Happy Pi Day!!!

Yes, I'm a math geek. Well...up to the point of calculus...then all is lost. I took two semesters of it in college, got B's, but now I couldn't solve a function to save my life.

It also happens to be Albert Einstein's birthday!

Today's Lesson...& movies!

Today in history...and movie recommendations based on them.

1781 - William Herschel discovers the planet Uranus.
Movie: From the Earth to the Moon...educational but quite good.

1865 - American Civil War: The Confederate States of America reluctantly agrees to the use of African American troops.
Movie: Glory...though this focuses on AA troops for the Yanks. Awesome soundtrack too (James Horner).

1930 - The news of the discovery of Pluto was telegraphed to the Harvard College Observatory.
Movie: Spaceballs...why? Because it's funny.

1943 - The Holocaust: forces liquidate the Jewish ghetto in Jewish ghetto in KrakΓ³w.
Movie: Schindler's List...heart wrenching but it's history. Another good soundtrack (John Williams...my jedi master).

1969 - Apollo program: Apollo 9 returns safely to Earth after testing the Lunar Module.
Movie: Apollo 13...duh! Tom Hanks rocks my world with everything he's in and it's just a good movie...that ALSO has a good soundtrack (James Horner again).

1997 - The Phoenix lights were seen over Phoenix, Arizona, & were seen by hundreds of people, & millions on television. And are now, hotly debated in controversy.
Movie: Close Encounters of the Third Kind...redundant but true...good soundtrack...(again...John Williams). OR E.T. - and guess what?...good music...(John Williams).

Harry Potter News...

Have you heard the news?!?!

The last Harry Potter film, The Deathly Hallows, will be in two parts!
I was so happy to hear that they weren't going to try to cram that book into a few hours. Even 3 hours wouldn't do the book justice!
And we won't have to wait forever between Part I and Part II...they will be released 6 months apart.

Half Blood Prince is due out this November. Deathly Hallows Part I is due to release November 2009 and Part II in May 2010.

Look how young!!
All grown up...

A Rare Trait???

Can you raise just one eyebrow? I CAN!!!

Apparently it's not common, I had no idea.

We Need to Give the Animal Kingdom More Credit...

Here's a nice story...
A dolphin rescues two would-be stranded whales in New Zealand.

There's an article on Yahoo!.
And an article on CNN.

Happy 2nd Birthday Patrick McDowell!!!

I can't believe little Patrick is 2!!!

Hopefully I'll remember to take my one and only picture at work and scan it in after I get back from lunch to post it.
***Awww, I can't get it to scan right. No pic...sorry!

Stickin' it to Us...

I about had a heart attack when I saw the gas prices yesterday! Good thing I got my raise or I couldn't afford to drive!
They're saying now that part of the reason is the value of the US dollar has decreased significantly. Duh. They knew that a long time ago. And I wonder just who is to blame for that. Who was in the oval office when the US took a major downturn.
Coincidence?
The "buck stops" somewhere...who else are we supposed to blame exactly?

Coolest Ice Ever!

Pardon the pun.

But aren't these awesome?!?! Ice and swizzle stick in one.

You can get yourself some of these here.

"Controversy" Overrides Humor...Again...

(Like cutting out the greatest scenes from Looney Tunes...ugh...maybe I shouldn't open that can of worms. Leave the classics alone!)

Anyway...Microsoft ad execs made a really great commercial for Xbox that never aired because it was deemed too controversial. But of course everything is on YouTube. I love it. So here it is...

Killer Potato Soup

I just have to brag about the potato soup that I made from scratch last night. In my true fashion I didn't follow a recipe. Well, I did use one as a 'guide' for approximate amounts of things but it was truly my own.
It was so good I had to have 2 bowls.

Let's see if I can recall everything that went into it...

Russet AND red potatoes
spicy ground sausage (this time)
chicken broth
celery
garlic
green onion
butter/flour/milk thickening agent
shredded cheese
parsley
oregano
sea salt

If you REALLY want to know the "recipe" shoot me an email or let me know in the comments.

I was just really proud of my concoction.

Is it weird?

That when I see the Toyota insignia on a car in front of me...

More Brain Food...

Uh oh...I'm on an educational streak...

On this day in history...

Good News...

I can't disclose the details because I think a couple of coworkers check my blog occasionally and the topic of salary is taboo.

BUT...(drumroll)...I got my raise!
And I'm happy with it.

And that's all I can say without risking the job that I got a raise for!!!

Today in history...

I'm feeding your brain today...

Year: 161 - Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius dies and is succeeded by co-Emperors Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus, an unprecedented political arrangement in the Roman Empire.

Year: 1827 - Brazil marines sail up the Rio Negro (Argentina) and attack the temporary naval base of Carmen de Patagones, Argentina. They are defeated by the local citizens.

Year: 2006 - Apple Inc. is granted the patent to the iPod.

Did I mention that I heart this car?

I am truly a Leo...

I wouldn't say I'm an astrological nut but I find this interesting. I was on Wikipedia the other day and somehow ended up looking up my astrological sign, Leo. (Brent...you know how you can spend all day on Wikipedia and by the end you're reading about something completely different from what you started with, back me up here.)

Anyway, the associated traits of Leo pretty accurately describe me. There are only a few here and there that I would argue with.

This is copied from Wikipedia.
Leo is the fifth astrological sign of the Zodiac, originating from the constellation of Leo. Leo is classed as a Positive or masculine, extrovert sign; its element is Fire and its Quality is Fixed. Traditionally in astrology Leo is ruled by the Sun.

•Associated traits•
Astrologers broadly agree that the following are the characteristics of leo:
Creative • Proud • Risk-taking • Fun-loving • Dramatic • Dignified • Theatrical • Passionate • Affectionate • Ardent • Loyal • Sexual • Ambitious • Loves attention • Very strong • Independent • Noble • Leader • Sunny • Bright • Magnetic • Kingly • Powerful • Enthusiastic • Protective • Adoring • Playful • Inventive • Generous • Supportive • Warm • Broad-minded • Expansive • Faithful • Loving
But is also prone to be:
Bossy • Patronizing with a snobbish attitude • Egotistical • Boastful • Pompous • Dogmatic • Pushy • Nosy • Over self-conscious • Cruel • Over-aggressive • Possessive • Dependent on others • Materialistic • Over-dramatic • Argumentative • Interfering • Jealous • Self-serving • Intolerant • Voracious • Arrogant

(I actually would have to agree with some of the "negative" traits but will argue strongly against patronizing, egotistical, pompous, pushy, cruel, dependent on others, materialistic, self serving, arrogant, and especially intolerant.)

Ideal Careers: Politicians, Welfare workers, Chef, Lawyer, Law and Government Enforcement, Photographer, Entertainer, Real Estate Agent, Artists, Model, and Fashion Designer.
Likes: Spotlight, speculative ventures, luxurious living, gold, adornment, fashion, pageantry, grandeur, taking shortcuts.
Dislikes: Doing things safely, ignorant and small-minded people, penny-pinching, being compared to others, loneliness, pointlessness.

Just a little something about me I guess! Look yourself up on Wikipedia...I dare you not to spend hours looking other random things up!

I want...NEED more Tagalongs!

"Hot Pocket"...

Incredibly addicting catchy musical saying...

and it works for so many things

i.e. "fidget pocket"...sorry, joke between Rob & I

The wonders of pouring water up your nose...

Ok, it's definitely weird. But like I said...I was willing to try anything at this point. So what you do is you tilt your head and pour the solution in one nostril and it goes through your sinus cavity and comes out the other nostril. If the water is too cold or too hot...it feels even more strange.
You know how your nose/sinuses feel if you've inhaled water while swimming? Like really inhaled water? Same feeling but you aren't coughing and sputtering.
I did this last night and this morning and being a born skeptic I'm not ready to say "this is it! this is the answer!". But I haven't had pain like I've had for a few days. I can tell there's still something going on there, but not like I have a vice on my head or the Vulcan neck pinch feeling. So I'll continue doing it for a few days.
But so far my opinion...I think this is great to help with any congestion...nasal or sinus.

Extremely poor marketing...

Baked Beans...

Seriously? B M for baked beans?

I love sinus pain!!!

If that were true I would have been a very happy lady yesterday.
Alas, I called in sick to work and was in bed or on the couch almost all day. No meds helped. Only sleeping worked so I at least wasn't awake to know I was in pain.

My sinuses are so bad that the pain reaches down into my ear, jaw, neck, and shoulder. I've already done two rounds of anti-biotics from the doctor. Time to try something new...

Time for a sinus enema. There's also a squeeze bottle version which is probably what I'll go with. I'll have to let you know how it works!

ESP...

I did it again! And I even told Rob & Lucy about it before it happened.

Sunday night I dreamt about a severe storm and tornado. And...wouldn't you know...

It's not local but it hardly ever is. If every tornado I dreamt about happened in reality locally, we would be in pretty bad shape.
I did think in the morning..."well, I'll have to watch the national weather". Sorry Mississippi...although...I didn't cause it...just dreamt about it before it happened, so I guess I'm not sorry. And last night I told Rob & Lucy about it before the tornado even happened.

I wish it could be a little more useful...like...see some street signs or at least state signs when this happens.
